Spain took the lead on the 29th minute when Alvaro Odriozola scored his first goal from a David Silva cross. Alvaro Odriozola was the main man of Spain’s first half with a number of attacking runs from the right! He even set up Andres Iniesta on goal but his shot was saved by the Swiss goalkeeper.
On the 50th minute mark, Iniesta again came close to scoring another goal; but Saul was brought on in place of him a little later.
De-Gea committed his error on the 62nd minute of the match when Lichsteiner shot from the edge of the area. De-Gea saved the shot but was not able to hold the ball. He instead pushed the ball into the path of Rodriguez who slotted calmly into the net.
