Asian Cup: this was the best match of my career says Chhetri

The predicament of the first match between India and Thailand surrounded the entire nation with pride.Sunil Chhetri, Indian Football captain, said that this is the best match of his illustrious International Career. India crushed Thailand 4-1 in their group opener on Sunday. Chhetri scored twice in the country's  win which came after 5 decades. "It(Thailand match) stays right top there. I am fortunate enough play a lot of good games for my country but this game is right top there".Chhetri told  PTI  when asked about to rate this match. Sunil Chhetri surpassed Lionel Messi to score 67 International goals from 105 matches. Messi has scored 65 goals from 128 matches. Chhetri said that they never expected a 4-1 win against Thailand as they are technically a better team. The indivisible spirit of the team has made them latch onto the opportunity and scored 3 goals in the second half. Chhetri said death during the break, coach Stephen Constantine and the players planned do not allow Thailand to play their natural ball possessing game which is the strong point and that give the Indians the advantage.
