Bengal All Out For 147; Rajasthan Manages 100

Bengal posted a total of only 147 on the opening day of the test against Kerala. Their tactic to prepare a green pitch to take the advantage of the pacers Ashok Dinda and Mohammed Shami backfired. Basil Thampi, Sandeep Warrier and Nidheesh took advantage of the condition to cripple the Begal batting line up. Kerala scored 35 at the loss of one wicket to end day 1 proceedings.
