Manchester United displayed a lot of character against Southampton as they fought back from two goals down to draw 2-2. Armstrong and Soares drew first blood as Southampton went 2-0 up. However, Lukaku and Herrera equalized in the first half itself in a swift response to entertain the football fans in the stadium.
On the other hand, Manchester City won their sixth consecutive match on the trot, with a 3-1 victory over Bournemouth, opening up a five point gap between Liverpool.
