It has turned out that Dani Carvajal will continue to be a part of the Spain National Team despite injuring his hamstring in the Champions league final. He limped out of the match on the 40th minute, which Real Madrid eventually won by 3-1.
However, the medics have confirmed that Carvajal’s hamstring problem is not as problematic as was feared initially and will thus be part of the Spain team going into the World Cup in Russia.
However, given that Carvajal will undergo rehabilitation now, it is unlikely that he will be part of the Spain squad for the warm-up friendly matches.
