Gautam Gambhir, playing his final competitive cricket at Feroz Shah Kotla, guided his team Delhi to 190/1 on the second day of the match. After Andhra posted 390 in their first innings, Gambhir was lucky enough to be dropped twice during the course of his 152 balls innings scoring an unbeaten 92. He was well greeted with a customary Guard of Honour by his teammates, and even his family showed up to view the talisman play his final knock. Although, Gambhir has lost his former touch he was still elegant, as he struck few glorious drives to the fans’ delight. However, he played cautiously once he reached 70. Everybody would be eager to see their beloved stylish left handed batsman reach century in his final match.
