EPL Gameweek Six Round-up

Liverpool continued their brilliant run of form as they won their sixth game on trot by beating Southampton 3-0. Liverpool took the lead from an own goal 10 minutes into the game before Matip made it 2-0. Mohamed Salah scored the 3rd goal of the match right before the halftime whistle to seal it for Liverpool. With this win, Liverpool is now top of the table with 18 points from 6 games.

Chelsea lost the pole position after they were held to a goalless draw against West Ham United. They are currently 3rd in the PL standings as Manchester City have taken up the 2nd spot on goal difference after they beat Cardiff City 5-0. Sergio Aguero opened the scoring for the Citizens before Bernardo Silva and Gundogan added one each in the first half. Riyadh Mahrez added two more in the second half to finish things off in style as the defending champions turned up the heat.

Arsenal seem to have found some form after losing both their opening matches against City and Chelsea. They have now won four matches in a row; their latest victim- Everton. Lacazette scored a stunning goal while Aubameyang made it 2-0 three minutes later.Arsenal are placed 6th right after Tottenham, who registered a 2-1 win against Brighton this weekend. Both the teams have 12 points in 6 games, but Tottenham have a better goal difference. Manchester United are having a tough time lately as they drew against Wolves, 1-1. Fred scored his first goal in a United shirt in the league before Moutinho equalised for the Wolves.
