Former Australian captain Allan Border in support of Virat Kohli

Former Australia captain Allan Border has come to defend Indian skipper Virat Kohli for his on field brawl with Australian skipper Tim Paine in the recently concluded Test in Perth. Border said that it is really very exciting to see a captain to reach and rejoice in such a manner even if its just a catch or a wicket or anything. Border said that there should be a passion towards the game and Virat Kohli epitomises the fact. “ You can see some passion in what he is trying to do”, Border said. Border said that Virat has led his team to secure the number 1 position and that his aggression shows that he is feeling the pinch to win his first series in Australia. Virat Kohli is leading a 'quiet' team which urges him to be on his toes everytime.Earlier Kohli has been slammed by Michelle Johnson and twitter really hit Johnson back for such comments. Border said that the game needed characters like Kohli. “Its good to see guys with that passion, drive and a bit of character” pronounced Border.
