India Loses To England

India suffered yet another heartbreaking defeat at the hands of England in the Women’s T20 World Cup. They failed to win the World Cup finals last year against the same opponents. After India won the toss they chose to bat first. Unfortunately, India failed to keep up the good form and managed to post only 112. Mandhana top scored with 34 runs while Knight claimed 3 wickets conceding only 9 runs. An unbroken partnership of 92 runs between Sciver and Amy Jones ensured England a berth in the finals. England won by eight wickets in 17.1 overs to set up a finals clash against Australia.
