Ireland and Zimbabwe commence their Group B campaigns in the World T20 on Monday, with both hoping to make a winning start in what could be a key game.
Preview
Ireland Set To Face Zimbabwe On March 17th. The ICC T20 World Cup 2014 started off on the 16th of March and the third match will see Ireland facing Zimbabwe on March 17th. Ireland has worked on their T20 skills when they defeated the defending champions West Indies some time back. Having defeated a strong team like West Indies will definitely have increased their confidence on the field. West Indies will probably have to find consistency as well as sum up the individual talents in the team to perform later in the tournament.
On the other hand, Zimbabwe would be coming with a group of their members to face the Twenty20 ICC World Cup in Bangladesh. Brendan Taylor would be leading the Zimbabwe team in this tournament. They need to establish their prowess in the match against Ireland as well as against teams like Netherlands and UAE. Then only will they qualify to move on to the second round of the world cup. It remains to be seen whose cricket skills for T20 tournament will prove to be better. It will certainly help each team to gear up to face better opponents as the matches progress. The game is scheduled to be held in the first half of the day in the Sylhet stadium on March 17th 2014.
