ISL witnessed a draw on Friday between Kerala Blasters and FC Pune City. This was Kerala’s fourth successive draw. Marko Stankovic scored a terrific goal in the 13th minute to put Pune side ahead in the match. But Kerala equalized it in the 62nd minute of the match to have the scoreline at 1-1 at the end of full time. Nikola Krcmarevic registered his name in the scoresheet for the Kerala side.
The result pulled up Pune City temporarily from the bottom position while the Kerala side moved to fifth spot. The Kerala side had a few interesting moments in the match upfront. CK Vineeth almost scored in the opening 3rd minute of the game, had it not been for the goalie Kamaljit Singh putting a superb effort to save it. Although Kerala maintained better possession, the match ended in a draw.
