The reigning European champions are desperate for good signings and this could be a major sigh of relief. According to reports, Madrid has offered Chelsea a sum of €112 million for the services of Thibaut Courtois and Willian. Madrid has been looking to sign a goalkeeper for quite some time now as a replacement for the ageing KeylorNavas. They were looking to sign Kepa from Athletic Bilbao last winter but the negotiations fell through and the young Spanish shot-stopper signed an extension with his current club. They finally seem to have solved that problem as Courtois, according to many, is all set to join the Los Blancos.
The departure of Ronaldo on the other hand meant that Real needed to bring in a winger. Willian is the perfect choice in a lot of ways. The Brazilian winger was on Barcelona’s radar as well, who decided to go with the 21-year old Malcom instead. A Manchester United switch could also be on the cards for the Chelsea winger.
In other news, United are still in pursuit for the signature of Harry Maguire or Toby Alderweireld. Maguire switch seems unlikely though, as Leicester has offered him a lucrative deal in order to convince him to stay at the King Power Stadium.
If rumours are to be believed, Gonzalo Higuaín could be on his way out of Juventus. He is likely to join AC Milan on a one year loan deal. Leonardo Bonucci on the other hand could be on his way back to Juventus after a disappointing first season with Milan.
