Five time World champion, Indian boxing star Mary Kom lived upto the expectations of the people and did not fail to deliver as she progressed into the quarter finals of the Women’s World Boxing Championship. She outclassed her Kazakh opponent Kassanayeva 5-0 and will be facing Wu Yu of China in the quarter final match. On the other hand, Sarita Devi made a few mistakes that cost her dearly as she crashed out of the event. She lost 3-2 against 2016 World Championships silver medalist Kellie Harrington from Ireland.
