Sania Mirza and Cara Black banged the top-seeded combo Su-Wei Hsieh of Chinese Taipei and Shuai Peng of China in the semi-finals to crash into the final of the Pan Pacific Open in Tokyo on Friday.
The Indo-Zimbabwean duo sneaked past the Wimbledon champions by 6-4, 6-2 at the Centre Court.
Sania and Black will clash with Chinese Taipei and American combination of Hao-Ching Chan and Liezel Huber, who had hammered Alla Kudryavtseva of Russia and Anastasia Rodionova of Australia in another semi-final. Chan and Huber emerged from a set to trounce Kudryavtseva and Rodionova by 6-7, 6-4, 10-7.
