Star snooker player Aditya Mehta won gold medal in World Games to make India proud again. Mehta banged Liang Wenbo of China in the finals comfortably to win the tournament at Cali in Columbia on Tuesday.
Mehta applied his plans splendidly during the game. He managed to score a difference of 3-0 to win the title against Wenbo who was considered as the apex player of the game.
Previously, Mehta had ousted Dechawat Poomjaeng of Thailand by 3-1 in the semifinal to gain a place in the final. Poomjaeng, who defeated Pankaj Advani of India, also thrashed Igor Figueiredo of Brazil to bag the bronze medal.
