Mark Hughes has been sacked from the post of manager of Southampton, the struggling premier league club announced on Monday despite the challenging 2-2 draw against Manchester United. The club has thanked Mark for services rendered by him. Southampton was ahead of Manchester united at home on Saturday`s match but ended up in a draw.Assistant first team manager Mark Bowen and assistant first team coach Eddie Niedzwiecki has also resigned from their respective posts.
Unfortunately, under him Southampton managed only one win with 7 defeats in their 14 Premier League matches. They are in the 18th position, just one point ahead of Fulham who are at the bottom of the points table.The former manager of Wales,Manchester City, Stokes and Blackburn had a lionized career as a protruding player of Barcelona, Manchester United Chelsea and Southampton player.
