Sri Lanka vs New Zealand, 30th T20I Match of T20 World Cup 2014

Sri Lanka and New Zealand face off tomorrow in what is basically a knock out match. The winner will go through to the Semis and the loser will be out of the World T20. Sri Lanka who came into this world cup ranked the no.1 side in the world at the T20 format won there first 2 games and dropped a crucial game to England who chased down 190 against Sri Lanka's bowling attack. New Zealand come into this came in tremendous form as well only losing to South Africa after a masterful last over by Dale Steyn where he defended 7 runs. Brendon McCullum has proven to be an able captain and the New Zealand team looks stronger than ever.

Keys to Success for Sri Lanka- One of Sri Lanka's big three at the top must fire. Mahela did it last game with Dilshan adding a 50. Sangakarra's runs have been scarce in this tournament and Lankan fans hope to see a turn around in this crucial matchup. As for there bowing the spinners need to get it in gear for this game. They struggled against England and hopefully they can recover. Lasith Malinga is also wicketless in this tournament as the other teams are blocking him out. He will be captain for tomorrow's match as Dinesh Chandimal has been suspended and hopefully that will put a spark in him and he can bowl like the match winner he can be.

Keys to Success for New Zealand- Dont lose wickets to Malinga and play positively against Sri Lanka's spin attack. Dew maybe another factor in this game so the toss will be crucial. Don't lose early wickets because than the middle order can be bogged down by spin. On bowling New Zealand must try to get quick wickets of the big three and put Sri Lanka's middle order under pressure. As we've seen before when the top 3 heavy of Sri Lanka fail the middle order can panic.

This should be a cracking game and the toss is as important as ever with the dew around the field. Lets hope for a great matchup.
