Barcelona seem to be having a decently good transfer window completing a bunch of really impressive signing this summer. The latest player added to the Blaugrana squad- Malcom. The 21 year old Brazilian wonder-kid had been heavily linked to AS Roma. Apparently, the Italian club had reached an agreement with Bordeaux for the youngster. They even released an official statement on their social media that the player was in line for a medical at the club. Barcelona on the other hand capitalised on this situation by bettering Roma’s €40 million by a million. Malcom landed in Catalonia the very same day to put pen down the contract. He has now finished his medical having signed a 5 year deal and will join the rest of the team for their pre-season in the US.
In the Spanish capital however, things are not going as smoothly as they would have liked. They are still looking for a worthy replacement for Ronaldo. KarimBenzema might also be on his way out. Amidst all the Neymar and Hazard links, they are now considering signing EdinsonCavani from PSG who’ll reportedly cost them a €100 million. Madrid however, seems convinced that Cavani should not cost them more than €60 million.
