Valencia has finally completed the signing of Portuguese forward Goncalo Guedes. The PSG player spent the last season at Valencia on loan becoming a clear favourite of the fans. Not only did he become an integral part of their starting eleven, but also managed to get a call-up for international duty at the FIFA World Cup 2018. Valencia made him a priority and had been trying to sign him for quite some time before sealing the deal last night. He is said to have cost the Spanish side €40million plus €10million in add-ons. PSG on the other hand, released an official statement that they are not pursuing Spurs playmaker Christian Eriksen. They have also gotten in touch with officials in Barcelona, threatening them with legal action if they continue to go after Adrien Rabiot.
In other news, Kevin Strootman ended his term at Roma, signing for Marseille for €25million. Bayern’s Sebastian Rudy is also on the move and will join Schalke, who managed to ward off interest from RB Leipzig, signing the German for a fee of €16million. PacoAlcacer is moving to the German side Dortmund on a year-long loan dealfor €2.2million. If rumours are to be believed, Dortmund will have the option to make the deal permanent for around €26million.
