The transfer window is open till August and a lot has changed since the past season. Known players will be seen in different jerseys, fighting against their rivals and ex-teammates alike while new recruits will be taking up their position in their former clubs.
Christiano Ronaldo won’t be seen wearing the Real Madrid jersey anymore, and the La Liga club are on the verge of completing a £35.5 million deal for Thibaut Courtois. They are also pushing hard to sign in Eden Hazard and have made an initial bid of £112 million to Chelsea. However, the London based club is reluctant to give up the Belgium forward, and Hazard himself will be difficult to convince after the departure of his idol, Zinedine Zidane from Bernabeu in May. Madrid is also keeping a close eye on Tottenham wing-back Kieran Trippier and might offer the Lilywhites £50 million for his services.
On the other hand, Barcelona have their eyes set on Willian and have reportedly made a third bid of £55 million. Barcelona has an edge over Manchester United because of the presence of Coutinho, which might see Willian opting for Camp Nou. They have also confirmed interest in Senegalese teenager, Moussa Wague and PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
Chelsea are risking angering their fans by putting in Joe Hart, who had a disastrous season with West Ham, as a possible replacement for Courtois. According to rumours, the newly appointed Maurizio Sarri is also interested in Juventus defender Daniele Rugani.
