The governing authority of European football, UEFA has began to take disciplinary action against Chelsea for alleged racist chanting. The alleged anti-semitic chanting took place at the Europa League match at Hungarian club Vidi last month. Vocal minority of Chelsea fans were heard singing derogatory chant about Tottenham supporters, featuring anti-Semitic language, during the 2-2 draw at the Groupama Arena in Budapest. UEFA added that its Control Ethics and Disciplinary Committee would deal with the case.Chelsea have been dogged by accusations of supporter racism in recent weeks and four players have been banned for racist comments against Raheem Sterling during the Premier League champion Manchester City.We must not allow a small minority of fans to bring further embarrassment upon us and will continue to take the strongest possible action against them,said Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck.
