Women`s Cricket : No change in captaincy

The Indian women's team will appear in their first match after their controversial exit  from the WT20I last month. In the meanwhile the head coach has been selected.  W V Raman was appointed as the head coach as Gary Kirsten did not want to leave his role in the IPL with RCB.  After the controversy, Mitali and Harmanpreet sorted out the differences and the two will lead the ODI and T20 team respectively . The series against New Zealand will begin on the 24^th of January. The T20I will also be a series consisting of 3 matches as the ODIs. Selection panel chief informed that Veda Krishnamurthy was dropped from both the squads because of her lack of form.Shikha Pandey replaces injured pacer Pooja Vastrakar and debutant Priya Ouniya replaces Veda.
